This morning on NPR I heard a piece of one of the Big 3 Auto Execs testimonies in front of congress. He told congress that they need 25 billion dollars because there was no way they could have predicted the current economic situation. While I agree with this statement, I would offer up the possibility that despite the inability to predict the current situation that doesn’t mean they couldn’t prepare for it.

We should all be prepared for bad times and any business who doesn’t should have to pay the consequences. I oppose all bailouts. Government should govern (limit) the people through making and enforcing laws. Since when is handing out money a way of imposing limits?
