After Bandeleir we headed to the top of the mountain and couldn’t resist getting out of the car and going on a short hike in 57 degree weather just after a summer rainstorm. It smelled like pine trees and rain. It was fabulous and a huge contrast to the dry and dusty Tsankawi.
